Getting Started
1. Account Setup
To create an account on Unitab, go to our website and click “Sign Up.” Follow the prompts to enter your information, verify your email, and set your password. Once verified, you’ll be able to log in and customize your dashboard settings, including notification preferences and theme.
2. Connecting Storage Platforms
Unitab supports multiple storage platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. To connect a storage platform, log in to Unitab, go to “Connections” > “Available Connections,” and select the platform you want to link. Follow the authorization prompts to complete the connection. Repeat for each storage platform you want to integrate.
3. Basic Navigation
Once logged in, you’ll find Unitab’s main dashboard with quick access to all connected storage platforms. The left sidebar allows you to switch between Unitab Web, Addons (Launching February 2025), and Drive (Launching March 2025). The Universal Search bar at the top helps you find files across all cloud storages instantly. Use Split-view to view two cloud storages side-by-side. Use drag-and-drop feature to transfer and organize files between cloud storages. Create, upload, delete or rename folders and files.

4. Unitab Web
Unitab Web is your central hub for managing and organizing files across all connected cloud storages. With drag-and-drop functionality, you can seamlessly move files between cloud storages in split-view, and manage your assets in one unified view. The advanced search tool helps you locate files quickly.
5. Unitab Addons
Unitab Addons (Launching February 2025) enable seamless integration within popular productivity and creative apps, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Once installed, you can access Unitab directly within these apps, allowing you to import files from any connected platform without leaving your workspace. Exporting files back to Unitab is equally easy, saving time and streamlining your workflow.
6. Unitab Drive
Unitab Drive (Launching March 2025) creates a virtual drive on your local device, granting offline access to your most essential files. Any updates made offline will sync automatically once you’re connected to the internet again. You can customize sync settings in “Settings” > “Unitab Drive” to control which files are available offline, optimizing storage and accessibility.
Managing Files and Folders
7. File Organization
Unitab makes organizing files simple. To create a folder, right-click in any section of Unitab Web and select “New Folder.” You can drag and drop files into folders, rename files by right-clicking and selecting “Rename,” and move files across platforms by dragging them between storage connections. Use folders and subfolders to keep your assets well-structured.
8. Searching Files
Unitab’s advanced search feature lets you find files quickly across all connected platforms. Enter keywords, file names, or tags in the search bar to filter results. You can also use filters like file type, date modified, and platform to narrow down results further, ensuring you locate exactly what you need in seconds.
9. Version Control
To avoid duplicates or outdated versions, Unitab tracks recent activity and file modifications. Whenever a file is edited or moved, the latest version is updated automatically. For added control, use the “Recent Files” section to check recent edits and ensure you’re always accessing the most current version.

Billing for Unitab subscriptions is managed securely online. You can select monthly or annual billing, with the option to save on annual plans. To update your payment method, go to “Account” > “Billing,” where you’ll also find your billing history and downloadable invoices. Payments are accepted via major credit cards and digital payment options.

Manage your account settings under “Account” > “Profile.” Here, you can update your profile information, change your password, and adjust privacy and notification preferences. To ensure account security, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication, which you can activate in the security settings.
